Which payment options are supported?
For site and global licenses we send invoices so these subscriptions can be paid with a bank transfer. For all other subscriptions you need a credit card (VISA or Mastercard) to subscribe. If you do not have a credit card, please read the next chapter.

I can not pay by credit card - what can I do?
If you do not have a credit card, please send us an e-mail. We can send you an invoice for the subscription (minimum subscription is three months). After we received your payment, we will send you a code which allows you to activate your subscription.

Where can I get a receipt after the payment?
After completion of the subscription process you will receive an e-mail with a link to a pdf-receipt. Also you can download any receipt anytime in your Biotechgate account under "My Account => Subscriptions"

Can I add my VAT number to the receipt?
It is possible to add a VAT number along with your personal details during the subscription process. The VAT number will be published on the pdf-receipt of your payment.

Is my subscription recurring?
All subscriptions are recurring by default (they are automatically renewed and charged to your credit card). The date of the next payment you can see on the receipt. However you can cancel your subscription anytime (up to two days prior to renewal). In this case the subscription will be valid for the rest of the period you paid for. Also you receive two e-mails prior to renewel which announce that your credit card will be charged again.

When and how can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription up to two days prior to renewal. The date of the next payment you can see on the payment receipt as well as in your Biotechgate account under "My Account => Subscriptions". In this area you also find the button "Cancel subscription".

Is my payment secure?
Our payments are processed by Datatrans (www.datatrans.ch), a specialist for international internet payments with domicile in Switzerland. The whole payment process is certified by Acertigo (www.acertigo.com) on an annual basis. Thus, we follow the highest security standards to process your credit card payments.
