The work objective of the Latvian Centre of Infectology is to provide government authorities with informative, methodical and organised support for the creation and implementation of infectology politics, to provide patients with infectious diseases, including those with HIV/AIDS, sexually transmissible and parasitic diseases, with highly qualified specialised outpatient and inpatient assistance, as well as carry out specific prophylaxis and analysis of infectious diseases.
